I am a highly motivated student currently attending Ocean County College with a perfect 4.00 GPA. SAT scores: 700 Critical Reading, 660 Math, and 650 Writing. While I am a declared Performing Arts major with a concentration in Music, I excel in other various subjects including Mathematics and English. My educational background as a previously homeschooled student gives me a unique outlook as both a student and a tutor. I have experience ranging from helping my younger sibling with homework to tutoring my fellow peers at the college level. My area of expertise includes assisting students in pre-K through 12th grade and new college students in reading, writing, or math skills. Also, due to my musical background, I have the ability to tutor in areas such as keyboard skills and basic music history. I encourage those I assist to solve problems utilizing both critical thinking and creativity. I am a huge advocate of developing a unique strategy for the student based on her/his individual needs and aspirations. My ultimate reward as a tutor is to witness my pupils succeed and feel confident in their abilities.
