To say I have a diverse background would be putting it mildly. Education and tutoring are my callings. I attended Lehigh University located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It is from Lehigh that I earned my degree in behavioral neuroscience, which required studying subjects that ranged from chemistry to psychology, and many in between.Afterwards, I spent two years training specifically to tutor students in grade school all the way up to graduate school. I have extensive experience in teaching one on one, in a classroom setting, as well as through virtual technology. In addition, I've also had the pleasure of doing a great deal of work with home schooled students and helping them to make the transition from a home school environment to public schooling, which can require a great deal of sensitivity. Working with gifted students and working towards advanced placement exams are other areas where I've excelled. Due to my primary educational background, I place a heavy emphasis on science and math.My past students have been shown to have great success with the assistance of my SAT, PSAT, and ISEE preparation techniques. I've found the keys to successful exam taking to be organization and tailoring study methods to each student's learning process. On the rare occasions I take time for myself, I enjoy reading and playing sports.
