-Advanced placement history classes in high school in addition to taking the AP US history exam. -~30 credits in undergraduate history work (between 24-27, 30 is a minor) in U.S. History, European History (specific class in causes in and elements that played a part in the outcome of WWI), Western Civilization I and II, Japanese History. -Current M.A. work includes Roman History, with an emphasis on the decline and fall of the civilization. United States Legal History Important works of history/historiagraphy. Involving an understanding of various themes and cultures throughout world history, and knowledge of history, and the historical works of the time. ex) While discussing and researching Greece, knowledge of Thucydides - History of the Peloponnesian War and Herodotus- The Histories were discussed and looked over. Beyond classwork my independent work touched on the Meiji Restoration of Japan, and noteably the writing and work of Fukuzawa Yukichi. -Always seeking more knowledge, and because of this determination, allows me to remain up to date with current events and expand on historical topics. -Attempt to make a larger connection of historical work and events to common themes in civilizations and literary works, art, music and so on.
