Experience

I have worked as a high school teacher and supervisor in the public education system for 34 years. Those years took me through the Middletown, North Brunswick, and Old Bridge school districts in New Jersey. I retired from this job in February 2015, which has given me time to focus on mentoring students full-time. I was fortunate enough to work in this position for many years, doing what I loved. However, in those years, I was also able to pursue other amazing opportunities. I not only started a family, but I also co-authored a book that was eventually published. I believe my experience gives me an interesting perspective when it comes to tutoring. Currently, I am available for a variety of subjects, including writing, SAT prep, US History, literature, and social studies. My educational career began at Seton Hall University, where I received my undergraduate education. I ultimately obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching at Montclair State University. Outside of teaching, I enjoy many activities. Baseball is one of my biggest passions in life; I spend much of my free time keeping up with the latest scores and news. I also enjoy writing, reading, watching films from the classic Hollywood era, listening to jazz, and spending time with my grandchildren.
