Hello! My name is Sarah and I am an experienced teacher certified in K-5 (kindergarten through fifth grade) as well as Teaching Students with Disabilities. Most of my experience is in lower elementary school, as I spent 3 years teaching first grade down in North Carolina. I currently teach fifth grade In Class Support, so my experience certainly ranges through all grade levels. I would welcome a tutoring job specifically for students in grades K-3 because I am very passionate about teaching students to read. I have lots of experience in teaching reading and decoding skills, and can also develop and strengthen comprehension skills in your child. I am also available to tutor in math for the lower elementary grades and have many exciting lessons to use to get your child excited and engaged! If you feel your child could benefit from one on one tutoring to either extend what they have learned or to better prepare for the next grade I'm here to help! I look forward to hearing from you, especially as summer approaches!

I enjoy spending my time at the beach with a good book. I also enjoy going to NYC to walk around and enjoy Broadway. My favorite thing to do is simply hang out with my four nieces and nephews.
